Department of Defence Logistics

The Department of Defence Logistics (DDL) is responsible for the formulation of logistics policies and plans for the Armed Forces involved in Joint Operations. It is responsible for coordinating logistics efforts of the 3 Services to ensure standardization for interoperability and compatibility of equipment. It is also responsible for providing logistics support to DHQ through budgeting and procurement of all requirements. It is headed by the Chief of Defence Logistics.
