The Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) was established in 1986 to provide an efficient system of obtaining military intelligence for the Armed Forces/Ministry of Defence. This function is carried out through the defence sections. Part of the objectives of the Section are; promotion of Nigeria’s Defence Policy and enhancement.
